The 2026 Annual General Meeting and Convention, held from 4–6 June 2026, brought together KATA members and key stakeholders from across Kenya, Africa, and the international travel community under the theme “The Journey: Build to Last.”
The theme reflected KATA’s continued focus on building a stronger, more resilient and sustainable travel industry. The convention provided a platform for industry leaders to reflect on the sector’s journey, examine emerging opportunities and challenges, and explore practical approaches to strengthening businesses, partnerships, and professional standards for the long term.
Building on the progress made in previous years, the 2026 AGM and Convention emphasised the importance of resilience, collaboration and sustainable growth. It brought together industry voices to share insights, strengthen connections and shape conversations around the future of Kenya’s travel trade, reinforcing KATA’s role as a platform for industry engagement, advocacy and collective action.
